Terms of use
Who we are
NurtureLog is made by Phomotech ("we", "us"), a company based in the United Kingdom. By using the NurtureLog app or this website, you agree to these terms.
Using NurtureLog
- You must be 18 or over and a parent, guardian or carer of the baby you log, or have their permission.
- Keep your account details safe. You're responsible for activity in your household.
- Don't misuse the app: no reverse engineering, scraping, or attempts to access other households' data.
Not medical advice
NurtureLog helps you record and notice patterns. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or replace advice from a midwife, health visitor, GP or other professional. Guidance and alerts are based on published sources (such as the NHS, AAP, healthdirect and IAP), may not fit every baby, and can't account for things you haven't logged. If you're worried about your baby or yourself, contact a health professional or emergency services straight away. See our safety notice.
Plus subscriptions
NurtureLog Plus costs $9.99 a year or $1.99 a month (or the local price shown by the store). Payment is taken by Google Play or the App Store when you confirm. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, in your store account. Cancelling stops the next payment; Plus stays on until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are handled under the store's policies, and your statutory rights are not affected. If we change the price, we'll tell you in advance and the store will ask for your consent where required.
Your content
What you log belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run NurtureLog for you and the people you share it with, as set out in our privacy policy.
Households and sharing
When you invite someone to your household, they can see and add to everything logged for the babies in it. You can remove a carer at any time in Settings → Carers. Only invite people you trust.
Our liability
We work hard to keep NurtureLog accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses that come from relying on the app instead of professional advice, or from data you didn't back up. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using NurtureLog and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
Changes and law
We'll tell you in the app before important changes to these terms take effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you keep the protections of your local consumer law. Questions: nurturelog@coroutinelab.com.
